Cheer's Karaoke

I'd been looking forward to tonight because not only because I was going to sing, but it's in Central Madrid. I decided to take an Uber there since I would be going out so late. The views getting there were spectacular!

Once inside, I knew I was going to have a blast. Everyone one seemed happy, and lively. I made my way to the DJ booth and filled out a card to sing.

To loosen me up I ordered a Sangria and a tequila shot. You know, to warm the vocal chords!

2 or 3 shots later, I was called up to sing.

I don't have video of me singing, but I sang Titanium by David Guetta ft. Sia. The crowd really liked it.. I was immediately greeted with high fives, and even a hug from a good-looking guy from Seville. I'll share some pics and a video with him in just a few, so keep reading ;)

So, to continue celebrating, I decided to take another shot. I asked the bartender (who was such a nice guy, and for the first hour or so there was the bartender and Karaoke DJ!) if I could tip him in US Dollars. And well, check out this video.

I love going out by myself. I always seem to meet all kinds of people and they tend to accept me with open arms. When I sing, I let out a part of me that makes me feel free. And I think that helped people approach me, like Alejandro did.

I attempted to sing Preciosa by Marc Anthony, so that not only would I sing in Spanish, but to also share my ethnicity, but unfortunately the video was not in sync with the correct lyrics, and I did something way out of my comfort zone. I sang Solamente tú by Pablo Alborán. It was out of my comfort zone because Pablo Alborán is a famous Spanish singer, and I knew that everyone would know the song, plus I'd never sang it in front of a crowd before.

I was glad I did! I let my heart out and it showed. A lot of people came up to me, making me feel right at home, and also making me think of Pete's Place North in Tampa where I usually sing Karaoke. Felt like family!

The last pic is one of my favorite pics of the night! Not only because he has the rose in his mouth, but because he took it upon himself to place his hand on my belly! It was sweet and it showed that, just like I feel about my body, he was also comfortable with all of me! His friend who took this picture also took a video and it is hilarious! I had no idea he was taking a video, and that makes it even better! Here's that video.

All in all, I had a blast but around 1:15am had to leave when I realized my phone was at 9%! I had to make sure I was able to get an Uber, and my phone actually died shortly after requesting the Uber! Thankfully, the driver still showed up and I was able to charge my phone on the drive back.

Two different guys gave me a rose after telling me I had a beautiful voice! Sadly, I left them in the Uber.

I had such a blast, and I will definitely be back.. this time with my battery backup ;)
