Upcoming Travel Adventures!

It's been a little over a month since my last post, and I wanted to keep you up to date on what's next to come in the following months!

August 2019:

I'm heading to Vegas! But only momentarily! Join me on a week long cross-country road trip from Las Vegas, Nevada to Tampa, Florida! I'm so excited to bring home, and drive back, my beloved pearl white 2015 Kia Sedona SX Limited Mini Van with technology package, heated (and AC) seats, leather seats actually, with all the bells and whistles!!! I know I'm getting carried away! I just love my van and I've been driving a car that has needed some expensive repairs! My van stayed in Vegas when my ex and I separated, and after being able to re-finance, I can afford to have my van back!

What will make this trip even more.. um.. interesting... my ex is helping me with the drive! Just me and him. Him and I. Alone. For a week. Feel free to insert a shocked face emoji here! Nahhh, I'm just being dramatic! Haha No romantic feelings, no getting back together. Just a friend helping a friend. I haven't seen him since August 2018, and we've still kept in touch here and there, still share secrets with each other, and hello, he was my best friend. I'm looking forward to my cross-country adventures, and I'm glad you'll come along for the ride!

September 2019:

Fort Lauderdale here I come! I'm really excited for another BBW Bash! (See Cocoa Beach posts for reference). This mini-end of summer Bash is hosted by Curvy Ventures. The event is Saturday September 7th, but I'm making a weekend of it, as many other are! This is my first CV event, and I'm ready for fun in sun, bikinis, and spending time with old and new friends alike!

I'll be rooming with my girl Dawn, so The Glamazons will be making another appearance! Even more exciting, is Tampa Bay's Club Plush will be there too! I've been a Plush Girl/ Promoter for geez... almost 10 years now! Officially Amazon Plush (previously Tiana Plush), I'll be joining co-founder Latin Plush, and Cinnamon Plush, with a round of shots poolside on Saturday!

November 2019:

New York, New York! This is going to be a Bucket List Adventure! Yours truly will be singing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!! I will be part of The Singing Tree Float. This is a Christmas tree float filled with singing ornaments (fellow Macy's colleagues and Delta employees). I auditioned and was successfully selected to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I literally got a golden ticket!

I'm still in shock! I mean actually won an all expense paid trip to NYC! Plus I get to be in the parade! Plus I get to sing in the parade! Somebody pinch me! Unless I'm dreaming, then please don't wake me!

I'm so honored and grateful to be a part of this event. This, this win, this means everything to me. I think about it and it makes me cry, happy tears, but still tears. I love singing and sharing stories through song. And what an opportunity they've given me. I get to do something I love, and I get to share it with the world!

I'm also so happy to have friends and family that are planning to meet up with me this week of the parade. I even have a cousin coming in from Massachusetts with his kids! I can't wait to experience everything this Thanksgiving, and share it with you too. Make sure you look out for me on TV, if you can't make it in person! I'll waive to you!
